SCOPA is the instrumental project of Quebec City musician and multi-instrumentalist Vincent Deit, also known for his work with Malaimé Soleil. Having collaborated with artists such as hôte, Fiction, and Nana Quinn, he launched SCOPA as a space where melody and groove take centre stage without the need for lyrics. Drawing inspiration from soul, library music, krautrock, early electronic music, and a wide range of non-Western traditions, SCOPA creates a distinctive sonic world that feels both nostalgic and vividly present.
