Prince Edward Island’s Christine Campbell is known for her powerhouse vocals and gritty guitar work. Whether performing solo, as part of Campbell & Johnston, or backed by the Black Market Band, she blends vintage blues-rock and roots influences with a modern edge. Recipient of Music PEI’s “Rooted to the Island” award in 2023, she and Campbell & Johnston earned “Best Blues Release” at the ECMAs and “Best Blues Recording” at Music Nova Scotia in 2025 for their album Paisley Hearts.
