Founded in Montreal in 2016 by Alexandre Archambault, Christophe Charest-Latif, Julien Comptour, and Mark Cool, Mort Rose quickly earned recognition within the city’s underground music scene with their critically acclaimed debut album, Nés pour aimer. Drawing inspiration from the psychedelic rock of the late 1960s, the band creates music that feels both modern and timeless. Mort Rose has also built a strong live reputation, opening for artists including Hubert Lenoir, Trois Accords, and Weezer.
